We are pleased to highlight the recent lecture by Anestis Kalfas, Professor at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH), titled “Aviation Propulsion Technology: Hybrid Electric Propulsion and Hydrogen Fuel – Opportunities and Challenges.”

His presentation, held at Imperial College London – one of our DEMOQUAS partners – explored key topics also addressed within the project, including the potential of hybrid-electric propulsion and the challenges and opportunities of hydrogen as an aviation fuel. These technologies are crucial in shaping a more sustainable future for air travel.
