We are delighted to announce that a research paper by our project coordinator, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH), in collaboration with our project partner Imperial College London, has been accepted for presentation at the next UNCECOMP conference!
📝 The paper, titled “Uncertainty Quantification of Transient Thermodynamic States in a Cryogenic Liquid Hydrogen Tank During Filling and Flight Operations”, explain how Liquid Hydrogen (LH2) is a promising solution to decarbonize aviation due to its zero carbon emissions and high specific energy.
As part of the DEMOQUAS initiative, AUTH is developing an advanced LH2 tank design for regional aircraft, while Imperial College London is addressing uncertainty quantification using deep learning methods. This collaboration ensures a robust and innovative approach to meeting aviation’s stringent safety and sustainability goals.
Congratulations to the teams at AUTH and Imperial College London for this achievement!
Exciting News from the DEMOQUAS Project!
