The path to climate-neutral aviation requires more than ambition – it demands data, precision, and collaboration across disciplines.
That’s why the DEMOQUAS project brings together 12 academic and industrial partners across Europe to embed sustainability and uncertainty analysis into the heart of aerospace design.
Through 5 test cases – from hydrogen storage tanks to airport and pilot operations – DEMOQUAS applies state-of-the-art Uncertainty Quantification (UQ) tools to develop next-generation components that are: lighter and more efficient, more resilient to real-world variability and easier to certify under future EU regulations.
By anticipating uncertainties from the very first design sketch, DEMOQUAS supports the safe integration of hydrogen fuel systems, hybrid structures and clean combustion technologies – all essential pillars of the European Green Deal and Horizon Europe targets.
