Our project’s review meeting was successfully held last Friday, in Brussels. This marked the completion of DEMOQUAS’ first phase.
A warm appreciation goes to Nadia Galuzzo and Regione Liguria and its office in Brussels, who have kindly hosted us in their premises. Regione Liguria plays a strategic role in representing the Italian territory and supporting companies and SMEs such as our partner STAM, at the European level. The Regions’ constant presence, commitment, and ability to build bridges with EU institutions are an invaluable asset for all of us who work to create innovation, opportunities, and growth.
We also want to thank our Project Officer, Dr. George Bampanis, for his constructive feedbacks and guidance, towards the achievement of our project’s goals.
Lastly, we thank our partners for their continuous commitment and huge effort in making DEMOQUAS successful. We are now delving into the second phase of our project; we aim to complete model verification and validation through a set of nine application activities (a total of six industrially relevant test cases), targeting the development of novel propulsion system technologies and the drafting of uncertainty quantification guidelines, to support aviation safety.
