Within the DEMOQUAS project, TU Delft is contributing to the development of modelling approaches supporting the Safe-by-Design aircraft paradigm.
The research focuses on the development of models that enable the quantification and management of uncertainties in aircraft systems, a central objective of the DEMOQUAS project. Understanding and modelling uncertainties across the aircraft lifecycle is essential for improving aviation safety and supporting more robust engineering decisions.
By integrating uncertainty quantification into aircraft design methodologies, the work carried out by TU Delft contributes to strengthening the analytical tools available to engineers and researchers working on next-generation aviation systems.
These research activities represent an important step towards achieving the DEMOQUAS objective of enhancing aviation safety through improved design, manufacturing and operational uncertainty quantification.
